Touch of blue..

Black, white and electric blue go so well together don't they? For along time I would never have mixed blue/navy with black, it was such a 'no-no,' but now anything is really a go isn't it? I love that it just has the tiniest bit of colour on it, but enough to make it pop! I have so many tops in this shape, but yet I keep adding more to my collection!! They really are such a good item to have in your wardrobe; they go with jeans and heels, jeans and sandals, skirts for going out on the town and even with a pair of smart black trousers and heels for the office-they really are so versatile. This colour of blue especially is everywhere at the moment, so it's good to have something neutral, but that has the 'in' colour in it aswell! My shoes are a complete bargain from Primark, one of my favourite shops. You seem to go in for a pair of fluffy socks and come out with two tops, a hat, shoes, accessories and even a pillow but yet you forgot about the socks! One shop I could spend hours looking about in- and not spend my entire bank balance in it either! I have been looking for a pair of these in black for so long since I got my brown ones- not the exact same though and these ones are perfect. The platform at the front, coupled with the chunky block heel make them so comfortable and easy to walk in, with the peep toe and the heel showing make them so in season as well. The zip up the front of the shoe makes it less girly girl and the leather jacket finishes that look off!

My jeans of course are none other than my Vera Modas, which are pretty much my second skin- 1 because I never have them off me and 2 because they are that tight to my skin! Haha thanks for reading, love Emma xx

Hats off..

When are black polo necks ever a bad idea? Never!! I love the cut outs on this one especially, rather than being completely covered up it makes it slightly dressier with the pieces of skin showing on the front and back.
I also loveee gilets, and this one was no exception; it was on the last chance rail and I walked past it on the way out. I think its one of those things that's nicer actually on someone than when you look at it on the hanger. I tried it on and I just  had to buy it, it was so chunky, comfortable, but light as a feather! I had just bought this skirt so thought it would go lovely with it- bringing the greys and the blacks together. I added the hat and the furry keyring to the bag to finish it off. I love adding accessories especially hats, it makes the outfit totally different and stand out a little bit more! :)
