I feel this is something that is very overdue for me to write about to you guys, and by no means am I showing off or flaunting in peoples faces. I genuinely get asked a couple of times a week if not every two weeks and I feel sometimes it is just too long to tell people everything. Yes of course I try and tell them as much information as possible at the time, but sometimes I think they don't wanna see a big paragraph coming back at them!
Yes, I am taking about my Gucci Belts- basic bitch I know!!!

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted a small handful of designer things to add to my wardrobe that I will have in years to come and I am so proud to have ticked most of them off, I work hard for what I want. Hell to the yes I would love to have every single colour of Lily under the sun and the purses to match at that but for the price of them I cannot justify it at all. But for staples such as a brown/black bags and belts then yes I can, because I know I genuinely will have them forever!

I got my Bayswater for my 21st birthday from myself, family and friends and still to this day I treat it like a child, it is wrapped up in its dust cover and stuffed with a towel until I need it. I used this EVERY DAY until I got my Lily so I have 100% already got my worth from it.
I picked up my Lily in Kildare Village, and still can't believe I done it because it's really not like me, I just bought it out the blue. For once I had money saved up and had a pretty shit year so thought I would treat myself, I even rang my mammy for back up haha.

My belt was the same, I had wanted it forever and wouldn't stop going on and on about it so my family gave me money for my birthday and my beautiful bestie got me a Brown Thomas voucher for my birthday so it only cost me a third of what it should have been!
I rushed into it that day, didn't really think and I regret being so rushed and unorganised about it.

I wanted one that wasn't too tight around my hips. I didn't want it to have a tiny wee bit of leather hanging out the end of the buckle but I also didn't want there to be this big long piece wrapping right the way around me from it being to big either. Gucci do not have sizes like 10,12,14 etc they go by 75,80,85 and so on.
This is where I got confused.
I rang BT before I went down to see if they had any and I was told that they didn't as there was a waiting list, which I totally understood. However they also said they get deliveries a couple of times a week and sometimes there is extra of each product, so I took the chance and headed on down with the girls.

When I arrived at Gucci I was told that there was only one left in a size 90, so I tried it on and obviously I fell in love straight away when I had it in my hand!
It was so soft, the buckle was so heavy, shiny and dull all in one and super duper pretty and uck I just didn't want to take it off- I loved it so much already. I didn't even pay attention to everything I had previously thought of when I was wanting to buy it, I was sold hook line and sinker as soon as I got my little mitts on it.
Then when he looked to bag it up for me there was actually a size 85 too, so I tried it but even though they were the exact same belt only one was smaller sizing, I had already got it in my head that the first one was mines and that was it, end of story I had made a bond with it..I was already planning outfits in my head, package it up sir, it's mines haha!

It wasn't until about a week later when I started picking outfits and wearing it even with my PJS (joke) I got to thinking I should have gotten the smaller size as the 90 is wayyy to big to fit around my waist and I had wanted it for that reason as well as to wear it with jeans. Only in the heat of it all I got far too excited and didn't even realise this, I just seen it fitted and that was it. And now even more than a year later, I usually only wear it with jeans as I still haven't got a hole punched in it. So I mostly wear my brown one around my waist when and if I can, and yes this is a 85.

Buckle Size
There is a couple of different options for buckle size in my style of black belt, 2cm (£235), 4cm (£320) and 7cm (£715).
I got the 4cm one, I personally didn't like the larger one as I feel it is way too in your face and I mean at £715? For real hun? I do love the smaller one and do eventually want it in white but for the black one I wanted the middle size buckle as it is such a staple piece (for me anyway).

Leigh is wearing the 2cm one here to show you size difference in person.

This is the 4cm one on myself.

7cm buckle on Kelly Clarkson
(as nobody I know actually owns one because they aren't wired in the head)

That is the biggest advice I could give someone planning on getting one, double make sure it is the correct size for you. If you can't get to Dublin to try them on and are purchasing it online, head to cruise fashion in Belfast. They have some and it may not be the belt you want, but you will get an idea of the sizing so you make the correct choice first time.
So don't go rushing out to buy the £1000 handbag you've been lusting after or rush and buy a £300 odd belt just because you've seen everyone wearing it- make sure its for you. After all you will have it forever, so sit down and really think about it, is it really worth it?

Mr & Mrs McKay

Morning guys, as I head off for a well earned break I thought I would pop on and tell you lot about the new Mr and Mrs McKay, aka my best friend Margie and her husband (lol) Brian as since the wedding I have had ZERO free time! Loads of people think I just do what I post on my stories every day but trust me, I actually do work loads without putting it on social media haha.

Ok that would have been a great post if I had of actually posted it when I was suppose too.. in JULY!! I am a disaster and the worst friend in the world I KNOW!! AGHHH.. anyway here is the post now Im done crying :)

I have known Margie for 13 years, and Brian for around 10 which is absolutely mad when I think about it, but the fact they are now married is even madder to me!
Just like Ciara and Rory’s wedding, I have been asked loads about Margie and Brian’s wedding venue, the stunning Drenagh House Estate , Limavady.
They wanted this venue for so long as it is so beautiful but yet so quirky- it is literally Margie and Brian in a venue. The old fashioned house, the stunning marquee and the acres of grounds around it-so picture perfect.

They picked the date and everything else fell into place, Friday 22nd June 2018.

I had the pleasure (I say that now as the stress is over haha) of being one of Margie’s bridesmaids walking her down the aisle to the love of her life, when it is someone so close to you it means just as much to you as it does them. Myself, my sister Ciara, Margie’s niece Caillee and Margie’s sister Dawn all had this pleasure.
We are all pretty easy going, as much as people would like to contest this, I think I am and no matter what I said about ‘I am not wearing a pink and yellow polka dot dress no way!!’ I didn’t really mean it, if she wanted that I would have went with it haha. Luckily Margie has a fantastic sense of style and dressed us to perfection, down to our earrings everything was perfect. I mean, look at these dresses.. a-mazzzzinggg!

We got these along with Margie’s wedding dress in Wedded Bliss, Portglenone. Honestly the most amazing staff, each and every time we went in to see them they couldn't have been more helpful towards her, and the selection of dresses are to die for!

Now to the part everyone wants to hear about (now you've seen the dress!) the Venue!
Luckily there was no weddings the day before so we could head to the marquee on the thursday with a team of 12 ready and waiting helpers! Just like Margie, she had everything down to a tee.. despite (including myself) shouting ‘Margie where is this going? Margie how about this? Margie! EVERY two seconds. However we got it done and dusted in an hour and 30 minutes anddd even had time for some tea, homemade cookies and a grand tour of the house before it was home time- got a little sneak peak of my bedroom (the part I really wanted to know about lets be honest haha)

Every single time I turned around I wanted to take a picture, and now their pictures are back we can relive the whole day again. This is why I love photos SO MUCH!! We obviously didn't get to see them some of the day because they were on their own for pictures, or we were getting pictures took, so I didn't get to see some of the things happening and you get to see it all when you get the pictures back, I love it! Look at all these pictures, honestly can't choose my favourites I love them all!
What am I not going to be like when I get married, I will need about 5 different photographers on the go to capture everything.. front back and side angles at all times haha.

Heres to the happy couple, 10 years down- 90 to go!

Evening everyone, hope you are all keeping super well on this super grim rainy cold gloomy Monday :)

Going on holidays soon? Even somewhere close by but need to hop on a plane? I hate you alllll!! I'm kidding, I am just ridiculously jealous already!
When I post about going away, I share everything with you lot and that starts with the packing. Most of the time for me it is just a quick get away for a few days in the sun or a little city break, so we only bring hand luggage. What is the point in going away for a few days, getting a super cheap deal then spending more on the luggage than the actual flight, you need to be at the airport earlier and you need to hang around to wait on your beloved case that is most probably going to be the last one out and battered into pieces! Sooo thats why I always opt to have just hand luggage when I can!

The last time I went away I showed on my Instagram story my clothes sitting out and my suitcase sitting empty, then the next snap was all the clothes in the case. Which I thought was a pretty normal snap, but I got loads of messages from people saying they never put the clothes in the side with the zip they always use this for there bits and bobs such as shoes, belts, straighteners and etc.

I have always put the clothes in this side, I personally think you can get so much more into the zip side and if you pack enough in- the netting actually squeezes it down some more so you save more room! Rolling clothes is key when packing into hand luggage also!

So it got me thinking when I was asked loads about how I manage to fit everything into such a small space! In my carry on handbag, I always bring a big one that is easy enough to carry but actually fits loads into it at the same time. My Coach one is perfect for me- and this is what I bring in my handbag to help save time, room and sometimes money.

Smaller Bag
When I am away this pink bag comes in handy for going to the beach or if we are out shopping, but I also need a small cross body bag for heading for dinner and being out and about in general when I don't want to carry a big bag about. So first thing to go inside the handbag..a smaller bag. (don't doubt me) Despite the bag being small enough to fit into the suitcase- number one I do not want my good Mulberry handbag super squashed in the suitcase and number two it takes up a lot more room in the case than inside the handbag believe it or not.

Small again but way handier in your handbag to have when you wake up from that whole 7 minute snooze you actually manage to get on the plane and it frees up some more space in your suitcase. Throw in a bobble and some grip clips too- sometimes the brush can't save it girl!

Slipper or socks
This is honestly one thing I have always done and would never fly without either a pair of fresh comfy socks or else slippers in my bag. They are so easy to pop in, even put them inside the smaller bag if your really tight for space. Most of the time when Im going away in the summer, to save room I make sure I wear a pair of shoes to the airport I am going to wear loads on holidays, to again save space. Most of the time it is a pair of sandals and not one person on that plane wants to smell my feet when I take them off thats for sure, nor do I want my bare feet on the ground. So to save everyone else from giving you evils the whore journey pack these, and I mean who doesn't want to have super cosy feet for them few hours?

Portable charger/charger
Phone batteries never last- well mines certainly doesn't anyway! Most of the time your in the airport for a good few hours before you take off, snapping away at the bar making everyone jealous right? Even the least active people put a picture of them going on holiday up! Then if your maybe listening to music on your phone on the plane or still taking photos of your mate sleeping with their mouth open, you are going to run out pretty damn quick and then you have around 45mins-1hour before you get anywhere to charge it when you land. So having a portable one means you don't have to worry about it dying or having to go searching in your case when you land for one, and then sitting on the ground beside a plug to text your mum to say you have arrived safe, before she has the Spanish police sending a search party for you!

Hard boiled sweeties/chewing gum
This doesn't effect everyone but my ears are the worst on a flight, they pop about 14 times and sometimes don't until 2 hours after I land! So having some hard boiled sweets deffo helps, they take up hardly any room if they are put in loosely and it stops you from buying them at the airport because we all know the airport prices! Chewing gum is always in my bag anyway, but you want to have fresh breath after a flight at least right?

This one isn't really a tip, it is a no brainer.
Flying takes it out of your body so you need to make sure and keep hydrated- especially on long haul flights and even more so if you are a nervous flyer and tend to sweat a lot about this.
One thing I would never do is drink the tap water they have on board for you in jugs, buy a bottle or a couple of cold fresh bottles before you board-so worth the airport prices!

Make up/liquids
I used to never do this and didn't realise how much handier it was until I started.
Most people put their liquids and make up into the hand luggage case, which is super handy as you have it all stored there and thats great don't need to worry about it again- if you have room. But if your super tight for space, any girl will tell you how much room it actually takes up. (if you bring everything) So bringing this in your handbag again saves room but also time. When you get to security all you need to do is shove you suitcase right on through, and pull out your clear bag from your handbag and pop it in the tray and your good to go, no worries of half the airport seeing your red knickers when you are lifting out your liquid bag from your suitcase! And it means if you want to head straight out somewhere when you land, you can fix yourself just before you land or when you do land as you will have it handy in your bag!

Another tip for make up/liquids is samples sizes.
I get the little clear stacking pots from the travel cases you get in primark or any chemist and fill them with what I need-
Foundation- one light and one darker.
Night cream/serum
This saves so much room by only bringing these rather than one full size of everything, therefore it will 100% fit into your handbag too.
When you buy something from a beauty counter you often get given some perfume samples or even just sometimes get handed them in the store. These are a winner for saving room in your bag and you aren't wasting your favourite perfume either. Even if you haven't had a chance to nip and get some samples, the airport have some sometimes. You know when you walk through duty free for the first time and all the ladies head for the perfume to get a quick spray of the expensive perfume before heading to the bar? (don't even lie and say you haven't done it!) ask the ladies working if they have any samples of it there for you- and remember to be nice!!

Another thing I have started doing recently is buying sally handson at the airport. As much as I can I try not to wear make up and tan on holidays, but my skin isn't as blessed as some of you lot and I am about the colour of my suitcase naturally! So this is so handy for night time, you pop it on, look super glowy and tanned for dinner then wash it off the next day and don't have to worry about streaky bits or sweating it off in the heat- your milk bottle white again! All I need to do is bring a mitt with me in my suitcase and buy it there. Again you don't need to worry about it going through security with it, and it is usually on offer in the airport too. And if you don't use it all, don't throw it out!! Bring it home with you, it is 100ml which means you can in your hand luggage and you will have used all your other sample pots so you will have loads of room in that little clear bag on the way home meaning your next night out you are ready to go!!

Hope this helps you pack for anyone lucky enough to be heading away soon! I am heading away to Liverpool this weekend but I actually have the luxury of having a 24kg bag with me this time- I might bring my pillow with me as I wont know what to do with all the room haha
Have a good weekend, and make sure to keep and eye on my insta and snapchat stories to see what we get up to in Livaaaapooool!!

Not even going to try and act all cool and chill about it, I am so excited it probablyyyy isn't normal.
Melissa and I have been talking about going to New York together since what seems like an absolute life time, and we finallyyy bit the bullet and booked it last week.
We are heading at the start of January and we thought it seemed like ages away (141 days) but it really isn't that far away to be honest, it will fly in so that's why we want to be super organised.

We had been looking on sky scanner for ages at flights, when was the best time, when suited us both etc and we had pre booked a hotel for the middle of January on booking.com, but THANK GOD for free cancellation, because we had to change the dates!

After looking at the flights we wanted, we met up and were all set for booking! I rarely get to see Melissa cause we are both so busy with work so I thought we would meet up and talk for hours and not get to book it but nope, she was more excited than me!
By the way we booked it in the cutest coffee shop ever, Cocoa Chocolate in Ballymena- amazing!

Instead of going through Sky Scanner we had decided together to book direct from Norwegian Airlines website and fly from Dublin direct.
We had worked out the prices of flying with the likes of Aer Lingus and British Airways with our meals and luggage all included already, compared to having just the flights with Norwegian and it STILL worked out cheaper having to add them both on.

When booking you have the option to either pay Lowfair- which is only hand luggage included nothing else. Low fair+, which is 10kg hand luggage, 20kg checked in, seat selection and on board meals. Or else there was Flex- which included all above plus you have the option to change details and flight times, it is refundable and you have fast track in the airports.
Us being the little bargain hunters we are, worked it all out and thought that the Lowfair+ would be the best option for us, and we got to pick our seats there and then-something we took very seriously! Are we too far forward, too far back? are we in the right position? Picking your seat is honestly so stressful!! We got there in the end, and choose seat number 21 because, well we are forever 21 right?!
Yessss we are those people haha

The whole thing was so simple and so straight forward. Some websites are super confusing and direct you here there and everywhere, but we got it sorted so quick (even with the good ten minutes we had picking seats!) and both did a little happy dance in the coffee shop when we booked in, and told everyone and anyone who then came near us that we had just literally booked NYC there and then!

As I said, we booked from Dublin so we have pre clearance there which is also SO handy, saves us time when we get there for more exploring!! We fly into Stewart airport and I thought it was going to be so hard and confusing to get into our hotel (which is right in the heart of NYC!! ekkk) but it is only 25 minutes longer in traffic and the lovely Kaelin Fox (who lives in NYC but travels home all the time with Norwegian) had put up information about buses that leave from the airport and take your directly into the city for $20 so we will deffo be doing that!

Coffee shops, Brunch stops and cocktail bars-we want to know it ALL!!
We already have a little book with every single place we want to see, every screenshot we have ever seen of places in our whatsapp and everything we do will be jotted down obvs? But any little hidden gems any of lot you have been to or know about would be so amazing to hear about! I am sorry for the NYC spam already.. soz not soz! We have one thing booked thanks to Ryan surprising us, but we are open to everything so give us a shout on your fav spots!

One thing I want to know is how the heck am I going to get everyone to sit below me at the MET steps? Ima have to work on that one...

Morning lovelies, or afternoon or evening depending when you're actually reading this.. For me it is Thursday morning so lets go with morning!

To most people who only know me through Instagram and see me putting pictures up of when I'm on holidays in a bikini or swimsuit by the pool, probably think that I think I look great- and for a while there I did. I felt so confident in myself, I had finally put the weight back on that I had lost a year ago and I was in such a good place.

However before the weddings I had put on way too much weight for myself personally to feel good, I was the heaviest I had ever been at that time.
I am 5'8 so I do carry weight quite well and can 'get away' with having around half a stone on before I start to notice it loads, my happy weight is around 10stone 8pounds to 11stone 2pounds. At that time I weighed 12stone and 3pounds.
I had never seen that 12stone mark before and I felt sick, to some people I get this isn't a big deal at all, which is totally fine- everyone to their own. But I just didn't feel like myself at all, no matter what I tried I could not shift it- slimming world, no carbs, no dairy, no sugar, everything I tried it didn't seem to work the way I wanted it too. I eventually (just in the nick of time to fit into the dresses) got to down to 11stone 8pounds and felt good again. Thennnnn after the weddings were over I had so much on with work and make ups and birthdays that I completely fell off the wagon again and gained A STONE in a month!!
I was officially the heaviest I had ever been in my life, at 12stone and 6pounds. I honestly felt crap when I came home from holidays, and yes I totally understand that some of it was bloating from drinking and eating bad and flying but I stood on the scales and my heart sunk.

So the 10 Day Weight Loss Kickstart honestly could not have came around at a better time for me.
The morning I was supposed to start the programme, I woke up with the worst tummy cramps and all I wanted was to get a cup of tea and a packet of biscuits and go back to bed. That would have been wayyy easier that morning but nope I got up and started prepping, and that is what I have found to be key this past ten days in helping me loose the weight- prepping.

For someone who is usually ALWAYS hungry, I really thought I would struggle from this and when I seen the plan I though how am I going to loose weight by eating so much food? The difference being it was good food I was eating.
I would have got home from a ten hour shift and ate a chinese or chippy, and sat up all night because I was buzzing from the fast food. I wold have went out for a big breakfast before work to keep me going all day, or got a salad from across the road but I was layering it in taco sauce. It wasn't that I couldn't have a break to eat a healthy planned meal it was me being lazy about it all and taking the easy way out.

Prepping really is key, it helps so much. Not that the meals in the programme are hard to make or take a lot of prepping it is just for me, I need something super quick and be able to have it there and then almost. The breakfasts either take me 2 minutes or else 10-both of which I am able to do in the morning- I'm not that lazy!
For my lunches I always take something with me, and again it takes five minutes max to prep a tuna salad.
Dinners are where I really thought I would struggle, but nope I really enjoyed it. Again the most it every took to make a dinner was 45 mins, and thats at leisure leaving your potatoes to boil. My parents eat really healthy dinners every night, usually potatoes, veg and a meat. So when I have steak or else pork loin and potatoes if they are having something similar- all they have to do different if cook my meat if they aren't having the same.
The programme is designed to work around normal life and it does exactly that, it is just making small steps and small changes to your everyday food to live a bit healthier.

One thing that really worked for me and mainly because my working hours are so random every day, was that your allowed to mix and match the meals up. Some days I took my dinner for my lunch and my snack for my breakfast then my lunch for later on in the evening when I wanted something light. As long as I was eating the right amount of calories in that day- which helped me so much!

Yesterday was the final day, and I finished off with my favourite meal of them all. Chinese Stir-fry, literally a fake away!! It tasted so good, I was so pleased with myself haha. Its soft noddles, pork pieces cut up, onions, peppers, and chinese 5 spice- BOOM. Honestly it's amazing, I loved it!

I weighted and measured myself before and after, and took pictures! I really debated showing these or not cause I hate the before ones myself but I want to show you it really does work!! Ps I am not sticking my tummy out, and I didn't add tan to make myself look smaller either! The lighting might be bit off because of the fact it looks like winter outside however!

I have lost a total of 8 pounds and 5 inches in the ten days- real results!!

When you buy the programme, you get sent it to download onto your computer, iPad, phone or whatever device you have.
You get the guide and information on the programme, 10 breakfast recipes, 10 lunch recipes, 10 dinner recipes and 10 snack recipes to suit each different programme you are doing (calorie wise), a workout routine, Tara on the phone 24/7 and being added to a closed Facebook group to help on recipes and encouragement along the way. Click here to buy the programme.. it's only £14!

There is also a 30 day follow up programme available to buy which helps you maintain the weight loss and carry it on into every day life, this is the difference- it isn't just a quick fix. It helps you maintain a healthy lifestyle, realising what you can eat.

Ryan booked us a little last minute get away for the end of august after the madness of the summer is over for myself in work, so I will 100% be carrying this on so I can feel amazing in myself when we go away. I have a goal in mind, I want another 10lb off so heres hoping I get down to that 11stone mark. I'll be updating you on my 30 day follow up and if I notice a difference or not with that one compared to the 10 days.

So many of you guys have told me you are doing the programme so can't wait to see your results, keep going!
