Hey guys!
This time of the year is probably my favourite for fashion - don't get me wrong, I love my sandals and white skinny jeans, but tights, boots and fur are way higher up the ladder for meπŸ™‹πŸΌπŸ˜

Also, around this time of the year I don't work as much (finally!) so I can actually play dress up which is probably why I love it so much. I get to wear something other than my work uniform, so I couldn't wait to get wearing this outfit!
This season there are a loads of huge trends including pleats, metalics, velvet, lingerie, 70s chic like I've gone for here and embroidered EVERYTHING! I mean who couldn't love all of that?!

This black dress is going to go with everything- polo necks, blouses, shirts, even little crop tshirts and converse coming into the spring again! You can never say no to a black dress, especially when it fits as perfect as this one does! πŸ™ŒπŸ»  andddd it has pockets?! Sold πŸ™ŒπŸ»

This blouse for me is AMAZING! I personally feel it looks a lot more expensive than what it actually was, the detailing around the neck and cuffs are so cute and give off that perfect well finished look to it. Bell sleeves are another huge trend at the minute, so this one fits in just about right! And just like an LBD, when is a white blouse ever a bad idea?! Timeless piece to add to your wardrobe and for £9.99, I mean, how could you go past this πŸ™ˆ

When I went to link the dress and blouse for you lot, they were even paired together on the website! A match made in heaven!

Online guide..

Review time ladies!

As much as fashion is my passion (without sounding too cheesy πŸ™„) everyone knows how much I love make up, so I was super excited to receive the online LMD Make up Guide- Smokey Eye Edition.
As mentioned in a post earlier in the year, just about every single girl in the north of Ireland knows about LMD and their style of make up, and would love to learn how to recreate her signature looks, so I'm sure they were all just as excited as me when this came out!

A smokey eye is the ultimate goto make up look right? Whether it's a dinner date with the girls, a hot date with a guy or else a night on the town, a smokey eye never goes out of style-so what a perfect first guide to bring out.

Without giving too much away of the guide for obv reasons, the pictures I have took with this are of me recreating the look for you guys to see the finished look you should achieve using the guide, and of course it's me- when am I ever one to turn down a selfie? πŸ’

It takes you through every step one by one of what you should be doing to achieve this look at every stage and in the order that the LMD salon do it in. The point with the pictures is to match it, they help really well with showing you how far you should be or how your look should be looking at certain points, it's like pausing a YouTube video and having subtitles there constantly but without the hassle haha
Personally myself, I always start with the eyebrows and eyeshadow when doing myself or clients make ups, as I feel it gives you the shape to work with and whatever product falls down from the eye you can simply wipe away rather than ruin your flawless base that you've worked on!

There are some great tips on it which are great for those who are starting out with their make up and want to learn the LMD way. The brows are probably mine and everyone else's favourite part of the make up routine, so good to have it on paper (well I say paper, but I mean email on my phone πŸ˜‚) to keep looking back at it rather than just on a ten second snapchat story! You know yourself girls, how many times have you paused that YouTube video or replayed an insta video to try and recreate a look you've seen- this is what's so good about it you always have it to look back on!

The products featured are some of my personal favourites are all tagged below for your handiness! Happy shoppingπŸ™ˆ

Overall my thoughts on the guide? I truly love it, when I first saw it I wasn't so sure to be honest, but when you sit down and go through it step by step, following the techniques it really is so good! The only downside I feel I have for this is that some of the products used maybe aren't so budget friendly to everyone- but if you follow LMD on snapchat (officiallmd) you will see how she talks about alternative products all the time, so you could pick up some tips from there!
Louise is so passionate about what she does and you can really tell this through the online guide! I have followed Louise for so long and will 100% continue to do so, especially these guides! If you have the guide yourself let me know how you got on and don't forget to hashtag #LMDmakeup when you recreate the look! If not you can purchase it through the LMD Facebook page!
